Life isn’t studied; it’s lived
Shift into awareness, and the world reveals itself
I was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan and George Washington University Law School. This led to a dynamic corporate career in New York City, where I worked at financial firms, including Goldman Sachs and American Express, before moving to the West Coast with my husband to pursue opportunities in the technology sector.
Despite this perceived success, I eventually found myself searching for something more meaningful beyond the relentless demands of corporate life. This exploration culminated in my debut book, Give Away Your Attention: How to Become Aware and Dissolve the Ego, a transformative guide designed to help readers break free from distraction and reconnect with their deeper awareness. Through practical tools, guided inquiry, and non-judgmental observation, my work invites readers to dissolve the ego and uncover a more intentional, present way of living.
Give Away Your Attention: How to Become Aware and Dissolve the Ego goes beyond explaining what it means to be present—it clearly articulates how to be present. Unlike other works in the genre, this book is packed with practical tools, clear examples, and guided exercises that make self-awareness and ego dissolution feel not only possible, but inevitable.
Through practical techniques grounded in non-judgmental observation and Unconditional Questioning, this book reveals how the ego operates in our automatic behaviors and unawareness. It dismantles conventional beliefs around focus and flow, showing that true liberation emerges when attention is consciously directed.
By challenging the myth of external distractions, readers will learn to reclaim their power, dissolve the ego’s grip, and experience life with heightened clarity and presence. This guide is a call to awaken to life’s depth, free from the confines of habitual thought patterns and egoic control.
The pace of modern life often pulls us away from the present moment. I write because I believe there is power in quiet observation, intentional attention, and dissolving the egoic patterns that drive us. Give Away Your Attention emerged from my own search for balance and meaning after years of working in high-pressure corporate environments. My mission is to provide readers with tools to explore their attention, step back from ego-driven behaviors, and live with greater awareness and presence.
Through my writing, speaking, and engagements, I aim to create spaces for meaningful reflection—ones that inspire people to challenge their perceptions, deepen their inquiry, and rediscover their authentic selves.
I’d love to hear from you! Whether you’re a reader with reflections, seeking collaboration opportunities, or interested in speaking engagements, I welcome all connections.
